On the visit of a delegation of representatives of the Department of Education of the Vladimir Region

On August 24, 2021, a delegation of specialists from the Department of Education of the Vladimir Region visited the Federal Center for Animal HEALTH, subordinate to ROSSELKHOZNADZOR. The visit took place within the framework of the implementation of the national project "Education", approved at the federal level by the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin.

Events dedicated to the implementation of the federal projects "Modern School", "Success of Every Child", "Teacher of the Future", "Young Professionals", included in the national project, are held annually, and are carried out in order to develop networking with enterprises, institutions and organizations.

At the official meeting with the leadership of the FGBI "ARRIAH", the delegates got acquainted with the main areas of work of the institution and its structural divisions.

Considerable attention was paid to the scientific and educational activities of the institution. Olga Byadovskaya, HEAD of the reference laboratory for bovine diseases, said that in order to combine the efforts of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH" and Vladimir State University in priority areas of science and technology, the basic department of "Microbiology and Virology" was created in 2012. The department is an integrated structural educational and scientific division of the graduating department of "Biology and Ecology" of the Institute of Biology and Ecology of the VlSU, the goals and objectives of which are to combine efforts in priority areas of science and technology based on scientific research in the field of virology and microbiology and the effective use of the innovative potential of the parties . The work on the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel in the graduate school of the institution and the possibility of training in additional education programs in the field of diagnostics, monitoring and prevention of especially dangerous animal diseases were also noted. Particular emphasis was placed on the activities of the Young Scientists Council, which operates at the FGBI ARRIAH. Delegations of young scientists leave with reports at conferences, seminars and internships organized by other Russian and foreign scientific institutions, and also take an active part in organizing and holding youth scientific and practical conferences, forums, round tables, competitions, exhibitions and other cultural and mass sports and recreational activities that promote the integration of young scientists.

Particular attention was paid to the FGBI ARRIAH museum and the veterinary service. The history of the creation of veterinary virology, the formation of new directions in science, the formation of branches of the FGBI "ARRIAH" - accessible and informative information aroused the interest of the guests.

Particular attention in the formation of the museum was paid to the employees of the institute, participants in the Great Patriotic War, home front workers, employees who have been working at the institute for many years, as well as leading employees of the institute, who were awarded state awards and prizes.
