October 22, MINSK . Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, on behalf of the President, presented state awards to workers in various fields, BELTA reports.

"The best representatives of our country's workforce have gathered in this hall," Turchin noted. "Among those receiving awards are representatives of tax authorities, industry, forestry, agriculture, construction, culture, sports, and civil servants. By your example, you prove that hard work, professionalism, a responsible approach, and compassion always lead to excellent results. All of this strengthens the authority of the state, increases its level of prosperity, and ultimately changes the lives of our citizens for the better."

The Prime Minister emphasized that the success of any endeavor lies in daily, honest, painstaking, and dedicated work. "I would especially like to single out those who have been awarded the medal 'For Distinction in the Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies.' Through your work, you have preserved a truly national treasure—our unique forests," Turchin said. On behalf of the
government
and himself, he congratulated those gathered on this significant event. "May this award inspire new achievements for the benefit of our native Belarus, and may you be an example to others of how to sincerely love your country and do everything for its development and prosperity. A significant part of your success is the patience, support , and assistance of your family, friends, and workforce. We are deeply grateful to them for this," the Prime Minister added, wishing the recipients good HEALTH, new professional heights, and prosperity. Andrei Buinevich,
General DIRECTOR of INTEGRAL OJSC, the management company of the INTEGRAL holding company; Vadim Bogush, Rector of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics; and Alexander Turchin, Prime Minister of Belarus. The Medal "For Labor Merit" was presented to Vadim Bogush, Rector of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. "The President's high praise feels like an award bestowed not on me personally, but on the large team that works with me and supports me at home. Clearly, achieving high results without family and colleagues is simply impossible," he said confidently, adding that it's also a goal for the future, a motivator for further progress.
Vladislav Bartkevich, Deputy HEAD of the Production and Technical Department of the Baranovichi Production Directorate branch of the Republican Unitary Enterprise Brestoblgaz, received a Presidential commendation for his many years of productive work, high professionalism, and significant personal contribution to the development of the gas industry. "Today is a bit exciting," he noted. "This is an assessment not only of my work but of all gas workers in the Brest region, particularly the Baranovichi region. Of course, it imposes certain responsibilities in the future and motivates us to better fulfill the tasks set before us by the state, particularly in serving the public. We have always strived to approach this with passion."

Vladislav Bartkevich has been in the profession for 36 years. "If I didn't love my job, I wouldn't have worked so hard in the industry. I started as a mechanic, then became the head of the transport department, chief engineer, and head of a gas filling station. Currently, I'm the deputy head of the production and technical department. When I learned about the award, I immediately shared it with my family. My first emotions were joy for everyone, especially for the team. Without the team, there wouldn't be this award," noted Vladislav Bartkevich.
Among those awarded the medal "For Distinction in the Prevention and Response to Emergencies" was Dmitry Bakunets, chief forester of the state forestry institution "Polesky Leskhoz." He's been in this position for over seven years, and in the profession for 27.
"This is an unforgettable experience for me. I'll have something to tell my children and grandchildren," he shared. "The most important task facing the industry is to complete the development of windfall and wind-blown logging sites. Even though we're located in the Brest Region, we're helping our colleagues with the aftermath of the storm. People are still working there now, and large areas have been damaged. An important task is to grow forests for future generations. We also fight forest fires. It's important to analyze each incident and promptly adjust extinguishing tactics."
His brother, who studied at the Polotsk Forestry College, helped the chief forester of the Polesie Forestry Enterprise choose his career path. "I'd just returned from the army, and he said, 'Go ahead, apply.' He intrigued me. I stayed working in forestry. I never considered other fields. I love my work—it's satisfying when everything works out," said Dmitry Bakunets.

A medal for "Labor Merit" was also awarded to Felix Yurovsky, manager of the Koptevka livestock farm at the Grodno Poultry Farm. He is now retired but continues to work. In addition to his primary responsibilities, he heads the enterprise's veterans' organization and the Koptevka village council. "I've been in agriculture for 45 years. Many of my university graduating class have changed careers, but I've stayed put. Our farm is diversified. It used to be very difficult, but now technologies are changing. It's not as stressful as it used to be. Before coming to the Grodno poultry farm, I worked for many years as a chief livestock specialist, assigned in the Minsk region, then moved to my hometown, the Grodno district. Our MILK production, milk yield, and livestock rearing indicators are increasing every year. The farm has created all the necessary conditions for work, and we've landscaped the grounds ourselves. We built a livestock breeder's house, gazebos, a workshop, grape vines, and planted an orchard," said Felix Yurovsky.
