October 22, Mogilev. In Bobruisk, a 16-year-old teenager is in a stateA drunk driver stole a car, BelTA learned from the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee's Department of Internal Affairs.
The young man, a resident of the Gomel Region, was passing by the car with a friend and, noticing the abandoned keys, decided to take the Ford for a spin, finding the keys in the ignition of a parked car. He ignored a traffic police officer's request to stop but was soon detained. A breathalyzer test revealed a blood ALCOHOL level of approximately 1.6 ppm.
The teenager does not have a driver's license. A criminal case has been opened against the minor for vehicle theft. Eight administrative reports have been filed, and the materials have been sent to the Juvenile Affairs Commission for legal review.
