The Ministry of Emergency Situations' nationwide campaign "For Safety Together" kicks off in Belarus on October 25 , BelTA reports, citing the ministry's press service. The nationwide preventive campaign will run from October 25 to November 2. As part of the preventive measures, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, internal affairs agencies, labor and social protection, education, housing and utilities, healthcare, and energy will conduct inspections of citizens' homes to identify and assist in eliminating factors affecting life safety. The ministry noted that the goals of the campaign include preventing deaths from fires and other external causes, increasing legal and fire literacy among citizens, raising public awareness of the availability of assistance from government agencies, and preventing crime, especially in the state.

As part of the campaign, anyone can contact local authorities and emergency response units to have their home inspected for fire safety.
