The project, implemented under the regional preferential lending program, allowed the Russkoye Pole agricultural holding to invest 440 million rubles. Regional Agriculture Minister Nikolai Denisov reported that the organized sector produced 88,400 tons of poultry MEAT in 2024 , with an expected increase to 93,800 tons by the end of the year. The modernization will add another 4,300 tons to this volume, strengthening the region's market position.
The poultry house renovation included both repairs and the purchase of new equipment, enabling a transition to more efficient production methods. The renovated facilities can accommodate approximately 28,000 birds and operate on an all-in/all-out basis, reducing production costs and ensuring high meat quality.
Anton Romanov, CEO of the Russkoye Pole agricultural holding, noted that the project was completed in eight months, given the current economic realities. Plans don't end with modernization: construction of a new production complex consisting of 18 poultry houses is nearing completion in the Vachsky District, which will increase poultry production by 16,700 tons per year.
Thus, modern technologies and investment in poultry farming create a sustainable and efficient economy, benefiting both producers and consumers. With government support, the future of poultry farming in the Nizhny Novgorod Region promises to be promising.
