US: Broiler Market Outlook Week 34 2023

Average prices for chicken cuttings showed positive dynamics, with a noticeable increase in prices for all items except the leg group.

The U.S. poultry production forecast for 2023 is down from last month due to lower broiler production forecasts.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced last week that it is providing more funds to poultry processors to expand operations, transform the food supply chain and create new and better markets for producers.

The grants will help independent businesses build and upgrade processing facilities and equipment, implement new technologies, train workers, and carry out other activities.

Eligible projects can receive grants ranging from $250,000 to $10 million.
