How has the food market changed?

The moderator of the event, the HEAD of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Russian Quality System"  Maxim Protasov , opening the meeting, said that a year ago at the previous plenary meeting as part of the Prodexpo-2022 exhibition, few people imagined what difficult challenges each of us would have to face.

“Today these are logistical problems, problems with the supply of agricultural equipment, packaging, raw materials, technologies,” Maxim Protasov said. – The country's economy shrank by 3%. Approximately 3.5% fell consumer demand. Nevertheless, the agricultural sector added more than 10% in comparable prices. Exports have grown. At the same time, the directions and countries to which we send agricultural products have changed dramatically.”

С приветственным словом к собравшимся обратился первый заместитель генерального директора АО «Экспоцентр» Сергей Селиванов, который поблагодарил Роскачество за организацию основных мероприятий деловой программы выставки.

Максим Протасов и Сергей Селиванов торжественно вручили представителям ряда предприятий пищевой промышленности Российский Знак качества, присваиваемый лучшим российским товарам.

Вице-президент АО «Российский Экспортный Центр» Алексей Солодов подчеркнул, что в условиях новой экономической реальности резко повышается роль экспорта в развитии экономики.

«Исторически половина нашего экспорта приходилась на западные рынки, – продолжил Алексей Солодов. – Сейчас они в значительной степени заблокированы. Экспортеры вынуждены осваивать новые рынки, на которых уже сложились определенные отношения и нашим поставщикам в условиях жесткой конкуренции приходится начинать с нуля. Поэтому мы упростили предоставление целого ряда мер поддержки. Обеспечили отсрочку выполнения ряда ключевых показателей, которые должны выполнять компании. И постарались максимально перевести в «цифру» те меры поддержки, которые у нас реализуются».

2023 is a year of big plans for the implementation of the tasks of developing the Russian economy in the new realities. How to increase capacities in a short time, create new production lines, solve the issues of the availability of raw materials and the necessary equipment? Where to find new logistics corridors and sources of credit collateral? These and many other questions are now acute in the food industry.

During the plenary session, representatives of the sectoral ministries, the Russian EXPORT Center and the leaders of the largest industry associations: Rusprodsoyuz, the National MEAT Association and the Association of Vinegrowers and Winemakers of RUSSIA were looking for answers to them.
