Hydrometers of general purpose

 

An instrument for measuring density of liquids (water, solutions...). Already from the name it is possible to tell that these areometers are the classic of this type of gauges. The plant "Shatlygin & Co", which is our Trade House, manufactures areometers according to the GOST 18481-81.

Our plant uses only high-quality glass tube of German origin for production of these devices. These devices are verified by weight method, which helps to minimize the error as much as possible.

 

 

Features and applications

As it is seen in the table, there are 5 versions of areometers for general purposes: AON-1, AON-2, AON-3, AON-4 and AON-5. They differ only in the size, the measuring range and the scale value. Some of them are used in the cases when the high accuracy of readings is important, the others are used in the cases when it is not so important.

There is also such a term as the set of areometers AON. It is understood as the set of 19 areometers of all ranges of the areometers AON-1.

Graduation is carried out on the paper basis, which is enclosed in the upper narrowed part of the areometer. The unit of measurement is kg/m3. The error does not exceed the division price, which corresponds to the standards for this instrument.

The areometers AON areometers are widely used in the sphere connected with laboratory researches. They are used in the labs of SUGAR refineries, distilleries, oil industry, waterworks, and other biological and chemical laboratories. In fact, they can replace all other special types of areometers.
