The Prosecutor General's Office turned to the Ministry of Economic Development with a request to deal with public procurement of technical rehabilitation equipment for the disabled, including complex orthopedic shoes. While auctions are delayed for various reasons or are disrupted, follows from a letter from the supervisory agency to the Ministry of Economic Development (available to RBC).

The Ministry of Economic Development proposed to consolidate in the current law on public procurement the preferential holding of a tender for this type of goods, which will allow establishing additional requirements for procurement participants and help reduce the risk of supplying low-quality goods.
