Russia's largest rabbit-catching complex supplies the Smolensk region with high-quality meat.

At a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and Governor Vasily Anokhin, the development of rabbit farming was discussed. The project to create and modernize the complex began in 2013 and was implemented through all stages, from the construction of animal sheds to the creation of a breeding and genetics center.

The complex can simultaneously house up to 400,000 animals, 34,500 of which are breeding stock. The annual output exceeds 2,000 tons of finished products, which are in demand on both domestic and international markets. Total investment in the project exceeded 1 billion rubles. The governor emphasized that Krol i K is also actively involved in humanitarian initiatives, donating its products to soldiers in the special operation zone.
