According to the agency, over the five years of the system's application, the overall quality of dairy and MEAT products has increased by 40 percent, and in some cases the quality has increased by 2-3 times. Thus, according to the agency, the number of violations in the production of MILK decreased to 2.5%.
The department noted that transparency of supplies and traceability of products allows maintaining security. For example, as explained in the department, products from abroad are imported only from factories that have received the appropriate production safety certificates, and through the system it is always possible to track which factory the delivery was made from and quickly take action.
The databases of the system also contain data from 870 accredited laboratories that issue permits and veterinary certificates. Thanks to this, the department is able to track the spread of diseases among animals and quickly take action. Thanks to this, the Rosselkhoznadzor noted, RUSSIA has a much more favorable situation for African swine fever and bird flu than the European average.
