Russia's credo in the fight against covid should be the phrase "hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst," said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, RBC correspondent reports. So he commented on the WHO message that the spread of the Omicron strain could lead to an increase in the number of hospitalizations and deaths of patients with covid-19 .
