Milk Gold Standard: Dairy Farm Management Forum to Be Held in Minsk on February 21

27 January, MINSK . On 21 February, the capital will host the IV International Industry Forum "Dairy Farm" - the only forum platform in Belarus on dairy farm management, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food told BELTA.

Heads, chief specialists and line personnel of agricultural organizations, industry management, representatives of science, suppliers of solutions for the agro-industrial complex will discuss the most important professional issues.

The main topic of this year's forum is "The Gold Standard of Milk: Farms of the New Time". The business program includes topics relevant to Belarusian specialists, speeches by authoritative speakers, live formats, exchange of experience and informal communication. The sections "Management: How to Make a Farm Efficient", "Animal Science and Forage Production: Animal Comfort and Their Productivity", "Reproduction: Modern Technologies and Selection" will be working.

Practical solutions of leading farms to ensure high productivity and profit will be covered. The authoritative experts will not ignore the topic of import substitution in veterinary medicine and feed production, innovative approaches to feeding, treatment and improving the quality of MILK.

The forum will also include the final of the IV Republican art project "Cow Gallery" on the topic "Cow is our pride!" The organizers explain: among the goals of the competition is the formation of a positive image of a cow as a symbol of hard work and productivity, stimulating young people to choose professions related to animal husbandry and agriculture, developing the creative potential of employees of agricultural organizations.

The competition is held among organizations of the Ministry of Agriculture, agricultural producers, processing enterprises, educational institutions of agricultural and food profile. Thematic photos are accepted for the competition. "For example, a photo can demonstrate the process of caring for and feeding cows or reflect the interaction of experienced and young specialists on a farm or in the field. The photo can also capture family dynasties or images of unique cows, for example, high-bred or unusual colors," the organizers explained.

Applications are open until February 3, the selection round will last until February 10. Detailed information on the terms of the competition is available on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture.
