In the Sverdlovsk region, salmonella was found in chicken MEAT. Frozen meat samples were examined by experts from the testing laboratory of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR reference center .
- We checked a sample of frozen mechanically deboned poultry meat for compliance with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union TR CU 021/2011 "On food safety," the reference center said.
The products were examined as part of the production control. This means that samples were brought to the laboratory from an enterprise launching a new product line. After the results obtained, the manufacturer will not release chicken to the market.
The reference center noted that the testing laboratory periodically detects Salmonella in poultry products. Experts urge consumers to be careful about the choice of poultry products and carefully follow the rules of hygiene and heat treatment to eliminate the risk of infection.
