The requirements for the control of pharmacologically active substances are determined . Appropriate changes have been made to the technical regulations of the Customs Union "On food safety" (TR TS 021/2011). The requirements apply to medicines not named in the technical regulations and not registered in the states of the Eurasian Economic Union ( EAEU ), which is very important for food imports.
The precise definition of the MRL will improve the safety of food products in circulation in the EAEU countries and will contribute to the settlement of possible conflicts related to different interpretations of the results of the examination, and unreasonable bans on mutual deliveries.
According to Dmitry Volvach, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, transparent standards were necessary for all manufacturers of controlled products in the EAEU countries: now they will be able to control their quality and safety based on an integrated approach.
Thus, the work of the EEC and all authorized bodies in the EAEU countries on a new conceptual direction, which has no analogues in international practice, has been completed, which lasted for about four years.
