The first is the preservation of traditional and already existing support measures that have proven to be effective ( lending , compensation for transportation costs, patenting, and so on). Another direction is a more aggressive and active marketing promotion of Russian goods in foreign markets, since traditionally many countries associate RUSSIA only with a limited list of goods, where our country is a leader, noted the HEAD of the REC.
“We added marketing activities to traditional support measures: organizing participation in exhibitions abroad, our demonstration and tasting pavilions with agricultural products - and the results turned out to be much better,” noted Veronika Nikishina.
In addition, an important area of work is logistics for the EXPORT of agricultural products. Thus, several years ago, the Russian Export Center launched, together with the Russian Railways holding company, the Agroexpress project, which makes it possible to deliver the freshest possible Russian MEAT, dairy and confectionery products in special containers to CHINA , Vietnam and other countries. And recently another project was launched - transportation of consolidated cargo by rail using a similar model. This mechanism allows exporters to deliver products with a reduction in financial and time costs, emphasized the General DIRECTOR of the REC.
