Due to the repeated identification of inconsistencies in products of animal origin, the shipment of goods from the following companies is temporarily limited:

 — JSC "Omsk Bacon" (Omsk region)

In 10 samples of poultry products (grilled breast) taken at the enterprise, residues of the antibacterial drug ofloxacin were detected in amounts ranging from 564 to 688 mcg/kg. The presence of these drugs in food products is not allowed.

Ofloxacin  is an antibacterial drug that can cause decreased immunity and allergic reactions. Repeated use of products containing antibiotics may lead to the development of antimicrobial resistance, which can lead to difficult-to-treat infectious diseases in people.

 — JSC “Tokarevskaya Poultry Farm” (Tambov region)

Inconsistencies in livestock products were identified at two enterprise sites located in different regions of the country.

In samples of broiler chicken by-products (heart), collected on the territory of the Tambov branch of the Inzhavinsky MEAT and Poultry Plant, the content of diclazuril in the amount of 4.9 μg/kg and dinitrocarbanilide in the amount of 4.3 μg/kg was found. Their presence in food products is not allowed.

In addition, the Service introduced a regime of enhanced laboratory control in relation to broiler chicken by-products (liver) of this enterprise, produced by its branch “Tokarevsky Meat and Poultry Plant”. The product contained maduramicin in an amount of 11.4 mcg/kg, which exceeds the permissible limit by 6 times. Samples of the product were taken for research in stores in the Bryansk region.

Dinitrocarbanilide, diclazuril and maduramicin are coccidiostats intended for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis. Regular use of products containing these drugs leads to dysbiosis, allergic reactions and decreased immunity.

A warning was also issued to Old Recipes LLC (Saratov Region). Samples of semi-smoked sausage and boiled sausage products (sausages) were collected in one of the catering establishments in the Saratov region. Based on the research results, food components were identified that were not declared in the composition - muscle and bone tissue, poultry skin. In addition, the content of these components is not allowed according to GOST.

In addition, ROSSELKHOZNADZOR reports other detected inconsistencies in the livestock products of two Russian companies. Thus, in samples of butter from JSC Ozeretsk Dairy Plant (Moscow Region), taken in stores in the Tver Region, signs of adulteration with fats of non-dairy origin were revealed.

When studying semi-finished poultry meat products (minced meat) of Volovsky Broiler LLC (Tula region), the content  of salmonella was confirmed  in an amount of 25 g, exceeding the established standards.

Bacteria of the genus Salmonella cause an acute infectious disease in humans - salmonellosis, accompanied by high fever (up to 41˚C), diarrhea, and severe intoxication. Salmonella in food products can not only persist for a long time, but also multiply intensively if storage conditions and periods are violated.
