Bashkiria will receive 114.5 thousand doses of vaccines against CORONAVIRUS infection by the end of this week, Maxim Zabelin, HEAD of the Republican Ministry of HEALTH, announced at a government meeting on Monday, August 2.
“This week, it is planned to supply 110,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccines, about 3,500 Kovivac and 1,000 EpiVacCoron,” he said.
In total, the republic received over 1 million doses of drugs for vaccination against covid-19 . The first component of the drug was administered to 940,535 residents of the region, 688,582 people received both components of the vaccine. Currently, there are more than 185 vaccination points in Bashkiria, and the number of mobile vaccination teams is planned to be increased.
During the day, 260 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the republic, 48,769 patients have been registered since the beginning of the pandemic. 44,919 people recovered, 120 of whom were discharged over the past day.
For the treatment of patients with community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19, 4055 beds have been deployed, their occupancy has reached 88%. 698 patients are being treated in hospitals, none of them are vaccinated, Maxim Zabelin noted.
