In the Tyumen region, 1 million people were vaccinated against coronavirus. This was announced in social networks by the governor of the region Alexander Moor.
“This number includes mainly those who were vaccinated for the first time, but there are also those who applied for revaccination,” Alexander Moor said.
The population of the Tyumen region, as of January 1, 2021, is 1,543,389 people. So, at the moment, about 64% of the population has been vaccinated in the region.
As of January 5, 151 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the region per day. Recovered over the past day - 127 people died - 15.
According to data from the stopcoronavirus.rf service as of December 30, out of 5 criteria for a region free from covid-19 , the Tyumen region fits only one - testing coverage. Other parameters, such as low morbidity, the level of collective immunity, the occupancy of beds by patients on mechanical ventilation and the workload of the bed fund, do not meet the criteria.
