Some of the key issues in the talks between RUSSIA and Ukraine should be decided at the level of presidents, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview with Hurriyet.
“There is a convergence of the positions of both sides on important and key issues. In particular, we see that they almost agreed on the first four points. Some issues need to be resolved at the level of leaders,” the minister said.
The "first four points", according to the Turkish administration, are:
the neutral status of Ukraine, its rejection of NATO membership; demilitarization of Ukraine and mutual security guarantees; "denazification" of Ukraine; rejection of laws restricting the use of the Russian language on the territory of Ukraine.
