January 10, Grodno. In the Grodno region, 17 drunk drivers were detained over the weekend, including a repeater. BelTA was informed about this in the traffic police department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

The state traffic inspectorate of the region on a big weekend served in an enhanced version. There have been no serious accidents involving drunk drivers. However, some drunk people still got behind the wheel. 17 such drivers were detained in the region.

In Grodno, one of them had to be pursued. On the night of January 8, on Tavlaya Street, the driver of the Lada did not stop at the request of a traffic police officer. The chase began. Soon the car was arrested.

The driver was a 30-year-old man. He looked drunk. Medical examination of suspicion confirmed - 1.7 ppm of ALCOHOL.

it turned out that within a year the man had already been caught drunk driving. Now the issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided.
