Novosibirsk region hosts regional Field Day 2022

Novosibirsk enterprises are increasing the volumes and types of agricultural machinery produced. Equipment that used to be bought abroad is now being produced in our region.
Samples of equipment, biological products, seeds produced in the Novosibirsk region and other Russian regions are presented today at a large-scale exhibition, which takes place as part of the Field Day 2022.
Governor Andrei Travnikov toured the agricultural exhibition, where about 90 enterprises and organizations demonstrated their products this year. A lot of equipment could be seen directly in work: the participants of the event were able to evaluate the speed and quality of work, the functional features of combines, diskers and soil cultivators, liquidizers, mowers, balers.
Despite the sanctions, with financial support from the state, Novosibirsk agricultural enterprises maintain the pace of development, the introduction of new technologies into production, and technical re-equipment. Since the beginning of the year, 1,640 units of agricultural machinery have already been purchased. Digital technologies are also actively introduced, they buy the most modern, up-to-date equipment with digital control systems. This allows you to reduce the time of field work, reduce production costs - and hence the cost of production, increase productivity.
“Today we are absolutely sure that digitalization, efficiency and transparency of activities, the use of modern technologies, interaction with science are the priorities that give tangible results. The trend that we took a few years ago – to pay attention not only to the volume of production and the preservation of enterprises, but also to increase their independence through increased productivity and efficiency – has justified itself. In any difficult year, regardless of the cause of the difficulties: be it the weather, the vagaries of the market or sanctions , it is such a good technological basis that helps our farmers overcome all these difficulties and come out even with a win, with a profit,” the Governor emphasized.
This year has set a new important task for the region, for the Novosibirsk agrarians - to increase the share of their own production. In just a few months, not only local machine builders, but also enterprises of a different profile, including some agricultural enterprises, quickly mastered the production of agricultural machinery, equipment for livestock farms, which they previously purchased abroad.
“Two to four months have passed, a lot is produced not just in RUSSIA, but in the Novosibirsk region,” Andrey Travnikov noted.
The HEAD of the region reminded the participants of the event that the world-class Siberian Biological Scientific and Educational Center - SibBioNOC - was created in the region. The Center brought together a number of educational institutions, scientific organizations, innovative enterprises, manufacturers of materials and equipment, and agricultural producers.
“The first results are already there: these are new tomato seeds, new products of food additives for animal husbandry. I urge all interested specialists to take a closer look at this structure; it is being developed under the auspices of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region and under my personal control. We will try to deploy support not only for agricultural production, but also for industry, scientific and innovative activities in the direction of SibbioREC. Because no matter how hard it is, no matter how hard they try to limit us in development, we want to remain in the positions of development at a high pace, ”the head of the region emphasized.
Governor Andrei Travnikov also welcomed the participants and guests of the traditional interregional event "Field Day - 2022" and presented awards for high performance in the development of the region's agro-industrial sector.
