The meeting with the directors of agricultural institutions of secondary vocational education was held by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov with the participation of the Minister of Education of the region Dmitry Zakharov.
Recall that the HEAD of the Republic Oleg Nikolaev instructed to identify the strengths and weaknesses of agricultural technical schools, analyze the indicators and think over a strategy for their development until 2030.
There are five agricultural technical schools in Chuvashia. Each DIRECTOR presented his own concept of development, but, as Sergey Artamonov noted, none of them can be adopted without revision.
For example, the Tsivilsky Agrarian and Technological College offers multi-level transformations with a doubling of extrabudgetary revenues. At the same time, it is planned to create small innovative enterprises and workshops. There is no detailed concept development yet.
Sergey Artamonov cited neighboring regions as an example, and instructed to give suggestions on how to shorten the training period and form plans for grant projects.
Dmitry Zakharov did not see dynamics and analytics by specialty in the strategy.
Batyrevsky Agro-Industrial College is ready to implement a number of projects together with the Ministry of Labor of Chuvashia, but does not rely directly on the needs of the population. It has not been determined for what purposes additional funds will eventually be required.
The Vurnar Agricultural College thought about the conditions for students to study - a canteen and an annex are needed. In addition, they want to license several new areas of study in order to expand the number of professions.
“We need to think about how to keep graduates in the region, how to interest them. It doesn't show up in your concepts. In new directions, the prospects are not clear - what will we get in the end?” Sergey Artamonov noted.
The Mariinsky Posad Technological College expressed the idea of a patriotic training program, the creation of a coordinating Council for staffing in the municipal districts.
The Yadrinsky Agrotechnical College proposes to develop modern directions - to train specialists for the maintenance of agricultural drones, unmanned harvesters, etc.
There were ideas to create an agrocluster and a quantorium based on technical schools.
Summing up, Sergey Artamonov said that the directors, together with the heads of district administrations, need to think more globally, ideas must be strategic, take into account today's trends and the needs of the region. “I give you ten days for new solutions, clear and intelligible strategies for creating an agricultural technical school of the All-Russian scale. We need fresh and bold ideas that will attract young people, give them an impetus for development, and form a desire not only to continue their studies at our agricultural university, but also to work with us in Chuvashia in the future,” he said.
