Eight people died from COVID-19 per day in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, eight more patients died from CORONAVIRUS infection per day, reports the operational headquarters of the republic to combat covid-19 . The total number of victims of the pandemic has reached 771, of which 617 are people over 60 years old.

During the day, another 258 cases of the disease were detected. The total number of people infected since the start of the pandemic has been 48,509.

187 patients recovered during the day. In total, 44,799 residents of the republic have been discharged since the beginning of the pandemic. The vaccination campaign against COVID-19 continues in the region. As of August 1, 939,570 people in Bashkiria received the first component of the drug, 684,656 residents of the region were vaccinated with the second component.

As RBC Ufa reported, on August 1, the Healthy Village project was launched in Bashkiria, which should speed up vaccination. Small, medium, large and large rural settlements with a population of 200 to three or more thousand people will take part in it. According to the results of August, the Association "Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Belarus" - the initiator and operator of the project - will determine the villages with the largest number of people vaccinated against coronavirus. Four winners of the first places from extrabudgetary sources will receive bonuses of 450 thousand rubles, eight villages that take second place will receive 400 thousand rubles each, another 12 villages - 350 thousand rubles each. Payments are also provided for HEALTH workers responsible for vaccination in the village, elders and public figures who involve the population in vaccination. Prizes of 15 thousand rubles are planned to be awarded to 25 doctors, 10 thousand rubles will be paid to 25 activists.
