More than 30 criminal cases initiated in Bashkiria for forging covid certificates

Since the beginning of July, the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Bashkiria has opened more than 30 criminal cases on falsification of certificates of vaccination and testing for covid-19 . This was reported by the press service of the department.

A resident of Oktyabrsky became a defendant in several such cases. An officially unemployed 51-year-old man "illegally produced medical certificates for several citizens for a monetary reward."

“One part of the fake medical documents was about the determination of CORONAVIRUS RNA, the second about supposedly conducted studies on antibodies M (LgM) to coronavirus using the immunochromatographic method. The intended recipients of the certificates actually did not undergo medical examinations, ”the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Bashkiria reported.

During searches in the apartment of the accused, more than 30 documents were found on the results of PCR tests and tests for antibodies to COVID-19, office equipment, seals and more than 30 thousand rubles.

Earlier, police detained a 20-year-old Ufa man on suspicion of forging and selling a fake vaccination certificate. In Sterlitamak, the secretary of the city hospital and her friend were convicted of issuing certificates of vaccination against coronavirus infection without a procedure. The Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region reported that they continue to identify fake medical documents.
