427 more Nizhny Novgorod residents infected with coronavirus

In the Nizhny Novgorod region, 427 cases of CORONAVIRUS infection were confirmed per day. This is reported by the operational headquarters of the Russian Federation.

The total number of residents of the region who were diagnosed with covid-19 during the pandemic exceeded 153.17 thousand people.

According to the latest data, more than 139.63 thousand residents of the region have recovered, more than 5.66 thousand patients have become victims of the coronavirus, including 18 people who have died over the past day.

As of August 24, more than 901.8 thousand residents of Nizhny Novgorod were vaccinated against coronavirus (a day earlier - about 887 thousand people), of which 791.36 thousand residents of the region received the second component (yesterday - 769.48 thousand). The region has now received 1,179,534 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.

Over the past day, more than 18.83 thousand cases have been detected in RUSSIA, and in general, 6.78 million cases of coronavirus have been confirmed. To date, more than 6.05 million people have recovered, 177.61 thousand patients have died.
