June 11, Orsha. The largest ice cream producer in the Vitebsk region, UE OrshaSyrZavod, is constantly increasing production volumes, and with the advent of summer, it has relied on the demand for delicacies in the heat, Pavel Kotov, DIRECTOR of the enterprise, told a BelTA correspondent.

About 600 tons of ice cream are produced at the plant annually. With the arrival of warm weather, production volumes increase - in June they intend to make 110 tons. "The hotter it gets, the more we will produce. It all depends on demand," said the director. 1 kg) and popsicle, the second - in a waffle cone and a glass. We EXPORT about 30% of the products, primarily to RUSSIA, the rest we sell in Belarus. In stores, the goods are sold under the brand name "Fairy Tale in the Palm".

This summer season, a new ice cream with fruit and berry fillings will appear in the assortment. "OrshaSyrZavod" is one of two enterprises in Belarus that produces cold treats with sorbitol instead of SUGAR, taking into account the needs of customers. Nevertheless, from year to year, classic ice cream in cups and popsicles in glaze are most in demand.

Ice cream is made using proven technology. Fresh MILK is immersed in the mixer, cream is added to it, and this mass is slightly warmed up. Then powdered milk is added. All this is thoroughly mixed, then butter, sugar, milk and other ingredients are added. After mixing, homogenization is carried out. Then the mass is pumped into huge containers, where it matures for several hours.

Ice cream enters the conveyor at a temperature of minus six degrees. The future popsicle moves along the line, sticks are automatically inserted into portions. Ahead is the most interesting part, which would delight children - ice cream is dipped in chocolate icing. It quickly hardens, and the ice cream goes to the packaging along the conveyor. The finished product is put into boxes and sent to the freezer. After a while, ice cream arrives in stores.

Pavel Kotov noted that Orsha ice cream is made only from natural products. Raw materials are taken from trusted agricultural enterprises of the region. "We will continue to develop, pamper customers with new types of products. We are also going to expand the geography of deliveries at the expense of Asian countries," the HEAD of the enterprise added.
