Also in March 2023, for the first time, the territorial department carried out veterinary control of MEAT products received from Mongolia. The imported cargo, controlled by the state veterinary supervision, arrived in Khabarovsk by road to complete the full customs clearance procedure.
During the inspection, it was established that the batch of frozen boneless horse meat of industrial slaughter, intended for industrial processing, passed the veterinary and sanitary examination in full and complies with the information specified in the accompanying documents. Its safety is confirmed by the veterinary certificate of the importing country.

According to the results of laboratory studies conducted at the Khabarovsk Reference Center of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR, meat products from Mongolia were recognized as meeting these indicators. No violations were found during the veterinary control. The batch of horsemeat was sent to the consignee for further sale.
