In 2020, the number of breeding cattle at the Kuban breeding farm amounted to 2,784 HEAD of cattle, including 278 cows. This became known during a visit to the enterprise by the Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Sitnikov.

98% of animals are assigned to the class "elite-record" and "elite" at the enterprise. The annual MILK yield per cow (according to grading) - in 2020 exceeded 7 thousand kg of milk with an average fat and protein content in milk of 3.82% and 3.21%, respectively. The yield of milk fat in the herd of Ayrshire cattle in 2020 was 285.6 kg per cow per year, which significantly exceeds the established requirements for breeding reproducers.

Dairy livestock has been bred here for more than 30 years. The herd of the Ayrshire breed is the only herd of purebred Ayrshire cattle in the Stavropol Territory, which was created on the basis of livestock imported from Finland. The livestock is located on three separate farms, and these are capital buildings for keeping dairy, dry cows and heifers. Here, the processes of manure removal, water supply, fodder preparation and distribution of feed are fully mechanized.
