Last autumn at the Irtysh poultry farm in the Omsk region there was a mass death of birds due to bird flu. The disease was actively spreading in the region, but no one expected that it would also hit a large enterprise. Nevertheless, then almost 1.5 million birds had to be destroyed. For this, the Irtysh poultry farm received 213 million from an insurance company from Moscow, OA VSK. The poultry farm also claimed payments from the regional budget.

Upon learning of this, the insurers decided to try to return some of the money, but lost in COURT twice. The court of first instance did not satisfy their demands, and the 8th arbitration court agreed with this decision, according to the website of the arbitration. The company's claims were twice recognized as incorrect.
