The second largest city in the Chelyabinsk region, Magnitogorsk, along with the products of the metallurgical industry, produces so much bread, pasta and MEAT products that not only the Southern Urals, but also neighboring regions have enough. The Sitno holding provides high-quality food to the city of metallurgists, and the regional center Chelyabinsk, and the surrounding rural municipalities, and the adjacent regions of the Orenburg region and Bashkortostan. A private business prepares meat delicacies.
The Sitno holding includes several enterprises, including the Magnitogorsk bakery and the Magnitogorsk bakery, the Agro Sitno agricultural enterprise, meat and egg poultry complexes, and a dairy processing plant. More than six thousand people work here, more than a thousand items of products are produced. Products are supplied to more than 50 regions of RUSSIA and for EXPORT.
The main feature of the entire Sitno production is that no imported ingredients are used here, all raw materials - from FLOUR to bread sourdough - are domestically produced. Wheat and feed for dairy animals are grown in the fields of the Southern Urals, and the equipment for flour-grinding and baking production is being systematically updated.
At the Magnitogorsk Bakery Plant, two modern pasta lines operate around the clock. Every hour, 6 tons of pasta are produced here. “We offer our customers group A pasta from hard semolina, and group B pasta from bakery flour. We produce flour at three mills, daily production is on average 550 tons of flour,” said Svetlana Kudryavtseva, DIRECTOR of the flour and pasta production.
Recently, the assortment of bread products has expanded at the combine: they began to produce two more types of flour: whole-grain wheat and whole-grain rye.
The further route of the flour produced at the MKHP, in addition to selling it to the distribution network, is to the Magnitogorsk bakery. About 300 types of bakery and confectionery products are made here. Every day, 70 tons of products are produced. Last year, a new automated line for the production of loaves and hearth bread with a capacity of 14 tons per day was launched.
The Magnitogorsk businessman Yevgeny Chepurin also gives his answer to the sanctions measures. In a small smokehouse, he makes Ural jamon, a dry-cured ham aged according to traditional technology, and various smoked sausages. Evgeny will soon complete the equipment of a new production facility, where the area will be much larger than the current one and, accordingly, the volume of meat production will also increase.
The entrepreneur now purchases raw materials for his products from private suppliers, carefully choosing pork legs of suitable quality. Therefore, the goods can still be called piece. But in the short term, with the launch of a new workshop, instead of 40 hams per month, Evgeniy will put up to 100 hams per week for ripening. And the corresponding meat parts will be supplied by Ravis, with which an agreement has already been signed. “They will prepare pork legs for us at their pig breeding complex, according to our instructions, and we will receive them here in Magnitogorsk and carry out all technological procedures: salting, ripening,” says Evgeny Chepurin.
The demand for these products is stable, the geography of buyers is almost the whole of Russia , there are, of course, connoisseurs in Chelyabinsk, Miass, Zlatoust and Yekaterinburg.
