From July 20 to July 3, 2021, restrictions on the provision of planned medical care were introduced in the Tyumen region, however, exceptions will be made for several categories of patients, the regional HEALTH department reported.
Thus, preventive and planned medical care has been partially suspended, planned hospitalizations and operations are also postponed. The exceptions are the areas of "cardiology", "oncology", "traumatology", "hematology", they will provide both planned and emergency care.
The press service of the Department of Health of the Tyumen Region told RBC Tyumen which residents of Tyumen will not be subject to the ban.
“An exception to planned medical care may be provided for people who have been vaccinated (from covid-19 . - Approx. ed.), who have had a disease, who have a medical exemption, in cases where it is inappropriate to postpone medical care,” explained Alexandra Malygina, spokeswoman for the department.
