Operational headquarters again allowed large shopping centers in the Kama region to work on weekends

The ban on work on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) of large shopping and entertainment centers, as well as hypermarkets located in Perm, Berezniki, Kungur, Solikamsk and Chaikovsky, has been lifted. This decision was made by the operational headquarters for combating CORONAVIRUS infection in the Perm Territory. This was reported by the press service of the government of the Kama region.

According to the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade, during the weeks, while in five cities of the Kama region, the work of non-food trade facilities with an area of ​​​​more than 8 thousand square meters was suspended on weekends. meters, shopping centers and shopping malls were able to strengthen control over compliance with measures to prevent and prevent covid-19 .

“During this period, we managed to stop the daily increase in the number of cases. Therefore, it was decided to open shopping and entertainment centers before September 1. But their owners and employees need to ensure strict observance of security measures, exclude crowds of visitors in order to avoid any risks of infection of the inhabitants of the region - these measures must be provided in each settlement of the region, ”the headquarters said.

Earlier, RBC Perm reported that on August 5, coronavirus restrictions were seriously tightened in the Perm Territory. On weekends (Saturday and Sunday), the activities of shopping and entertainment centers with a total area of ​​more than 8,000 square meters are suspended. m. and all organizations located in them, including cinemas, food courts and catering organizations that provide services with the condition of delivery or pickup, with the exception of organizations that sell food products. This measure applies to shopping malls located in Perm, Berezniki, Kungur, Solikamsk and Chaikovsky.
