On the Don stopped the growth of wage debts

In the Rostov region, wage arrears to employees have stopped. This follows from the data provided by Rostovstat.

According to the territorial body of state statistics, this figure did not change from March 1 to April 1 and amounted to 40.87 million rubles. At the same time, from February to March on the Don, a decrease in wage arrears was recorded - by 2.5%.

At the same time, the entire amount of debt still falls on organizations that operate in the field of "manufacturing industries". In addition, all debtor companies are in bankruptcy proceedings.

As RBC Rostov previously reported, a decline was also noted during 2021, while growth was regularly recorded in 2019 and 2021. But despite the positive dynamics, last year the Don region ranked fifth among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in this indicator - then it reached 77.8 million rubles in monetary terms.

Recall that earlier during the profile meeting, the governor of the Rostov region demanded not only to continue work on eliminating debts at bankrupt enterprises, but also to take under strict control the timeliness of wages at all operating industries in the region.
