Schoolchildren of Voronezh were transferred to a remote location due to COVID-19

Starting October 12, all schools in Voronezh will be transferred to distance learning due to the spread of the CORONAVIRUS. This was reported by the press service of the regional government on Instagram.

“Higher education and professional educational organizations are recommended to conduct online lectures, practical and laboratory work,” the message says. This also applies to organizations that are involved in educational programs and sports training programs.

In addition, the government of Voronezh recommended that employers transfer employees whose children are in grades 1-4 to remote work.

“The end date of the measure will be determined later, taking into account the epidemiological situation,” the press service said. At the same time, the government added that municipal leaders can independently introduce distance learning and close schools and classes when the epidemiological threshold is exceeded.

In addition, all public catering in the Voronezh region will be transferred to the operating mode until 21:00.
