In January-October 2021, the region of presence of Agropromkomplektatsiya Group of Companies more than doubled the production of MEAT and meat-containing semi-finished products. According to the publication of the Center for Agroanalytics, a subordinate institution of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Kursk region ranked second in the production of meat and meat-containing semi-finished products (chilled and frozen) for the period from January to October 2021. The region increased the output of these products by 2.2 times - up to 170.7 thousand tons.

The production of frozen pork offal increased significantly - by 70.9% (up to 32.7 thousand tons), pork fat - by 65.9% (up to 12.7 thousand tons) and frozen pork - by 45.4% (up to 92.6 thousand tons).

it was noted that over the past ten months, food and processing enterprises in the Kursk region have produced 391.1 thousand tons of meat and offal, which is 9.6% more than in the same period in 2020. In addition, according to Rosstat, during the reporting period Kursk agricultural organizations produced 486.2 thousand tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter in live weight. The largest volume falls on pigs and amounts to 73.8% or 359 thousand tons. The region ranks second in RUSSIA in the production of pigs in live weight, second only to the Belgorod region. In general, the production of pig products in Russia has increased by 39% over the past five years.

The Kursk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center for Agroanalytics" connects a noticeable increase in indicators with the stable work and development of key enterprises in the region's agro-industrial complex.

GC "Agropromkomplektatsiya" is one of the largest investors in the Kursk region, in different areas of which significant production assets are located, including sixteen modern automated pig farms and the flagship enterprise - Kursk Meat Processing Plant LLC. Earlier, the processing and storage capacities of the enterprise were increased 3 times, a multifunctional logistics complex was opened, a new line for cutting and packaging bacon with a capacity of 5040 tons per year was launched. In addition, this autumn the plant expanded its EXPORT deliveries to the European market - shipments of technical fat to Poland began.
