Borovichi MEAT Processing Plant JSC was brought to administrative responsibility for the supply of beef with listeriosis pathogens to the Zhukovsky psycho-neurological boarding school (Smolensk region).

According to the federal department of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR , a batch of frozen meat dangerous to human HEALTH and life was sold in April 2021. The presence of pathogenic microflora (Listeria monocytogenes) is confirmed by research protocols in an accredited laboratory.

According to the decision of the Arbitration COURT of the Novgorod Region, for violation of the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union (part 2 of article 14.43 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), the enterprise will pay a fine in the amount of 300 thousand rubles.

The legal service of Borovichi Meat Processing Plant JSC tried to challenge the decision of the court of first instance, but the 14th Court of Appeal left it unchanged.
