February 8, Brest. JSC "Brest Pivo" has launched a new bottling facility for non-alcoholic and energy drinks. This was announced at a meeting of the city executive committee by the DIRECTOR of the enterprise, BelTA has learned.

"Our investor was closely engaged in the search for partners with whom we could load our capacities. Several options were worked out. As a result, in November a contract was signed with a Russian company for bottling non-alcoholic and energy drinks under their brand in a 0.5-liter PET bottle. In December, we carried out preparatory work, worked out technological processes, and equipped the line. On January 13, the company began bottling these drinks," Andrey Lubnevsky said.

In January, the plant produced 40,000 decaliters of new drinks. In February, it is planned to produce 150,000 deciliters, in March - 250,000, and in May - up to 500,000. installation is planned next week with the subsequent commissioning of the second line," the director said.

According to calculations, by the beginning of the second half of the year, the plant should start profitable work.

At the same time, the owner of the production plans to develop the beer theme. "The investor has not abandoned its strategy to work in the craft beer segment, high-margin. In the near future, we do not plan to bottle beer in pet bottles - we will bottle it in glass and kegs. Also in April it is planned to put into operation a bottling line in cans," - Andrey Lubnevsky added.

At the meeting of the city executive committee in an expanded format, the results of the socio-economic development of the city in 2022 and tasks for 2023 were considered. Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Yury Shuleiko took part in the work.
