Sheep breeders of Transbaikalia received 120 thousand lambs as a result of the brood campaign

The lambing campaign has ended in the sheep farms of Transbaikalia. As a result of an important technological event, 120,000 lambs were obtained, said Alexander Tyukavkin, deputy HEAD of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
“The breeding campaign took place from February to June in 17 municipal districts. As a result, 120 thousand lambs were obtained from 126 thousand ewes. The Mogoytuysky district became the leader in terms of offspring, the livestock breeders of which received 19.3 thousand lambs from 20 thousand sheep,” the deputy minister said.
The best dynamics in terms of average output was shown by the farms of the Duldurginsky district, where 6.8 thousand lambs received from 6.4 thousand ewes.
it should be noted that from next week the sheep breeders of Transbaikalia will start a shearing campaign.
