Executive DIRECTOR of RKZ-TAVR LLC Alexander Remeta claims that the need to move is dictated by the need to reduce internal production costs. Unlike most one-story MEAT processing plants, TAVR occupies a three-story building, he explained, while a smaller area is required to accommodate modern processing lines. In total, the complex occupies about 11 hectares.

Back in 2020, the founder of the Agrocom Group, Ivan Savvidi, talked about plans to move sausage production to an industrial zone in Bataysk, located 15 kilometers southeast of Rostov-on-Don, but the project worth about 700 million rubles could not be implemented due to difficulties with infrastructure. The snag was the impossibility of passing the Gazprom pipeline: the holding was asked for an amount that excluded the profitability of the transfer.
