A state veterinarian from the Tuymazinsky district of Bashkiria has unreasonably extended the shelf life of meat products by 11 months

Thus, on August 2, 2023, the state veterinarian of the State Budgetary Institution "Veterinary Station of the Tuymazinsky District and the City of Oktyabrsky of the Republic of Bashkortostan", serving an individual entrepreneur, in the production of MEAT products: "Boneless beef cut "Inner part of the hip cut" chilled V/U" with a total weight of 1018.3 kg and with an expiration date of July 30, 2024 , used identical products with an expiration date of August 26, 2023 as raw materials. Thus, the state veterinarian unreasonably extended the shelf life of meat products by 11 months.

The revealed facts are a violation of the procedure for registration of veterinary accompanying documents in the production of products of animal origin and may lead to the release of low-quality and dangerous products of animal origin into circulation. In addition, the traceability of food products was violated.

Thus, according to the rules for organizing work and the procedure for issuing veterinary accompanying documents in electronic form, the above-mentioned products were issued with violations.

In connection with the violation identified, the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Administration sent an information letter to the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Veterinary Medicine. The State Veterinary Station was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.
