Exporters can compensate up to 90% of the cost of product certification. Certification allows you to confirm the compliance of goods with the requirements that are imposed on foreign markets.

We are talking about documents received both on the territory of the importing country and the Russian Federation. These are, for example, conducting voluntary certification to obtain halal and kosher certificates, the cost of obtaining phytosanitary and veterinary certificates, as well as transportation, storage, testing and disposal of test samples.

“Russian agricultural products are becoming more and more in demand abroad. In this regard, the certification procedure is now especially relevant, and the compensation of part of the cost of it by the state is a significant support for business. Now it has become easier and faster to get it - through the My EXPORT platform. All interaction between the organization, the Russian Export Center and the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA takes place digitally, and the period from submitting an application to receiving support has been reduced by 2 times,” said Alexey Solodov, Vice President of the Russian Export Center (part of the VEB.RF Group).

The organization may be reimbursed for a portion of the costs it incurred during the 12 months prior to the date of application. At the same time, the volume of export earnings must exceed the amount of compensation that is requested by at least 5 times. In this case, organizations will be reimbursed 50% of the certification costs. If the amount of export earnings exceeds the amount of the requested compensation by 10 or more times, then the state will return 90% of the certification costs.

The exporter can submit an electronic application for each consignment of goods or combine them into one application.

To receive compensation, you must log in to the My Export digital platform, submit an electronic application, attach the necessary documents to it, and sign it with an electronic digital signature (EDS). After the documents are verified by the REC, the application is automatically sent to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. If the agency's decision turns out to be positive, then an electronic agreement is signed between the REC, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the exporter, and the organization receives compensation for its costs for product certification.
