Agricultural products worth Br2.4 billion produced in Belarus in January-February

March 15, MINSK. Agricultural production in January-February 2022 in farms of all categories (in agricultural organizations, peasant (farm) farms, households) amounted to Br2.413 billion, or in comparable prices 99.5% of the level of January-February 2021, BelTA was informed by the National Statistical Committee.

Agricultural organizations produced products worth Br2.354 billion, or 99.8% in comparable prices compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

Farms of all categories produced 284.8 thousand tons of livestock and poultry, 1235.5 thousand tons of MILK, 551.3 million eggs. Agricultural organizations account for 96.3% of livestock and poultry production in live weight, 98.3% of milk and 92.8% of egg production.

As of March 1, there were 4.2 million heads of cattle in agricultural organizations, including 1.4 million cows. The number of pigs was 2.3 million.
