May 24, MINSK . According to the results of exchange trading in January - April, the amount of transactions concluded by enterprises of the Tula region at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) increased 5.6 times compared to the same period last year. High positive dynamics was provided by sales of metal products and import-substituting goods of Tula production: cast iron, iron powder, transistors, relays, terminal blocks and switches. This was stated by German Puzyrny, Deputy HEAD of the Department of Foreign Economic Affairs of the BUCE, during a meeting with business circles of the Tula region, BelTA learned from the press service of the exchange.

According to the representative of the exchange, an important role in the further development of exchange trade between Belarus and the Tula region can be played by the Tula regional fund "Center for Entrepreneurship Support", which in April of this year received the status of a BUCE broker.

"The volume of exchange turnover depends on two factors - the number of trading participants and their activity during trading sessions. A broker is able to influence both of these indicators, attracting new clients to the exchange and facilitating transactions. In this regard, we have high hopes for our broker in Tulskaya region, which has a wide network of contacts in the business environment and is already negotiating with 7 enterprises interested in working on the Belarusian market," Herman Puzyrny said.

According to the BUCE press service, the priority areas of cooperation with the Tula region in the field of exchange trading are the supply of ferrous metallurgy products, electrical products and feed additives to the Republic of Belarus , as well as the EXPORT of Belarusian food products - powdered MILK and butter. To date, 31 economic entities from the Russian region have been accredited to BUCE.
