Stavropol Governor Vladimir Vladimirov dismissed Yevgeny Maslov, First Deputy Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Territory. Based on the materials received by the FSB, a criminal case was initiated against him on suspicion of fraud.
“I instructed the regional department for the prevention of corruption violations to conduct an inspection against this leader. Also, together with law enforcement agencies, we will assess the damage caused by the official,” Vladimirov wrote in his TELEGRAM channel.
As RBC Kavkaz reported, in the Stavropol Territory, based on the materials of an audit by the prosecutor's office and the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in the region, a criminal case was initiated against the first deputy minister of housing and communal services on the fact of fraud for 15 million rubles.
According to the prosecutor's office, in 2020, state contracts for 45 million rubles were signed between the regional ministry of housing and communal services and the company for the provision of disinfection services.
The department noted that the first deputy minister of housing and communal services organized the preparation of auction documentation in violation of the law, which led to a significant increase in the price of these government contracts. At the same time, the contractor with whom the state contracts were concluded was determined before the preparation of procurement procedures began. Thus, 15 million rubles were stolen from the regional budget.
