The farms of the Tomsk region sowed 97,237 ha of wheat (+0.4% of the plan), 22,607 ha of oats (+0.6%), 23,841 ha of barley (+0.6%) and 10,626 ha of peas (+2, five %). In general, the sowing plan in the region was fulfilled by 98.2%.
Farmers also completed the sowing of corn for grain (277 ha - 100% of the plan) and continue to sow buckwheat (1,861 ha - 79.2%). Vegetable growers have finished sowing carrots and beets, the planting of potatoes is nearing completion (1473 hectares - 99.2% of the plan).
Fields with fiber flax are fully sown (615 hectares), with oil flax by 92.1% of the plan, with soybeans - by 66.8%.
Annual grasses were sown on 7,948 ha (64.1%), perennial grasses - on 6,341 ha (85.7%), the plan for sowing corn for silage was completed by 84.8% (2,981 ha).
The farms of the region have begun caring for the crops. Pre-emergence harrowing was carried out on 37,308 ha, 26,925 ha were treated with herbicides and 8,541 ha with insecticides.
