Wargaming, the developer of World of Tanks, World of Warships and other multiplayer military games, has announced its withdrawal from Russia and Belarus. This is stated in the message on the company's website.
“Over the past weeks, Wargaming has been conducting a strategic review of business operations around the world. The company has decided that it will not own or operate any business in Russia and Belarus and will leave both countries.
The company points out that on March 31, it transferred its gaming business in Russia and Belarus to the local management of Lesta Studio, which is no longer associated with Wargaming. They also promised users from the two countries to maintain access to games "during a transitional period."
