Starting next week, a vaccination campaign on a paid basis for foreigners and stateless persons will start in the region, Dmitry Lopushov, chief freelance specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan on immunoprophylaxis, said today at a press conference in the Tatar-Inform news agency. Currently, the Ministry of Tatarstan is collecting applications from medical organizations wishing to vaccinate foreign citizens.

“The final list of medical organizations will be determined next week. The vaccination will cost 1,200 rubles, it will include the cost of the vaccine and a medical examination, ”said Lopushov.

According to him, in total, more than 1 million doses of the vaccine have been received in the republic. The other day, another batch of Sputnik V and Sputnik Light products arrived.

In Tatarstan, 910,430 people have been vaccinated to date, of which 719,707 received a second vaccination. 2013 people were revaccinated in the republic.

“About 20 thousand residents of Tatarstan did not come for the second vaccination against covid-19 . I note that immunity from the virus is developed only after two vaccinations made at a certain time, ”Lopushov said.
