The ever-increasing demand for instant on-the-spot analysis results has created a need for innovative and rugged, portable, moisture-proof instruments. The HI-9142 is an easy-to-use dissolved oxygen (DO) meter with a polarographic sensor.

 

During fieldwork, instruments may be exposed to inclement weather. Cold, rain, dust, and moisture can cause condensation on housing parts. The moisture-resistant housing of the HI-9142 successfully withstands the many challenges of working in the field.

 

The zero point calibration is performed using a zero dissolved oxygen HI-7040 solution, while the 100% point calibration is performed in air.

 

The polarographic sensor (HI 76407/4) operates with an accuracy of 0.3 parts per million and comes with a 4 m cable, allowing for measurements even in hard-to-reach locations.
