May 26, Brest. The HEAD of a farm in the Kobrin district has been supplying water to the plant under the guise of MILK for a year and a half, regional prosecutor Viktor Klimov said today at a meeting of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, BelTA has learned.

The fact was revealed at the KSUP "Tribal plant" Druzhba ". From July 2020 to December 2021, the head of the farm, through the mediation of an individual entrepreneur, supplied water to the Kobrinsky Butter and Cheese Plant under the guise of milk. it was established that 11 tons of such "raw materials" were supplied to the processing plant. This was done to hide the decrease in milk yield on the farm.The prosecutor of the Kobrin district initiated a criminal case against the suspect.

Problematic issues in the field of animal husbandry were considered at the meeting today. Viktor Klimov also cited other facts of violations of the law revealed by prosecutorial checks. These are cases of corruption and bribery. For example, two veterinarians of the Pinsk city veterinary station for several months received bribes with sausage and MEAT for unreasonable admission to laboratory testing of meat products with obvious violations of veterinary and sanitary rules. A criminal case has been initiated against them.

The problem of loss of livestock in agricultural enterprises was also raised. "In the region, it was possible to prevent an increase in the case, it is at the level of last year. However, in some areas there is a significant increase in the disposal of livestock (Baranovichsky, Ivanovsky and Pruzhany). In general, over the past five years, the case of cattle has increased by 2 thousand heads, or by 11%. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that the data of official statistics on the loss of livestock largely do not correspond to reality, since the practice of concealing such facts has not been stopped in most regions," the prosecutor of the region noted.

Thus, from April last year to April this year, more than 100 criminal cases were initiated for concealing the facts of the loss of livestock at 49 agricultural enterprises of the region. At the request of prosecutors, more than 100 officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility, and the damage caused by the loss of livestock was recovered from the perpetrators in the amount of more than Br150,000.

Deputy Prosecutor General of Belarus Gennady Dysko, who took part in the meeting, drew attention to the compensation for damages. "The loss of livestock is, first of all, damage to agricultural enterprises. However, the compensation for damage is only 17% in this regard. Therefore, the heads of district executive committees, deputies, in principle, this is your job. The damage must be compensated, because there are guilty persons in each case ", - said the deputy prosecutor general.
